31% of people who don't graduate will live in poverty.
32% of Adams County high school students considered "economically disadvantaged."
For students involved in afterschool programs
70% express more interest and knowledge in science.
50% improve math and reading grades.
60% see improvement in classroom behavior.
56% improve homework completion and in-class participation.

HOW WE MEET THE NEED
Empowering Students for Success
REDUCING HIGH RISK BEHAVIOR
Developmetnal assets are the building blocks of healthy youth. Every CGYC activity supports one or more of these assets. The more assets a student has, the less likely they are to be involved in high-risk behaviors.
Tutoring- students receive one on one acadmic help every day
Life Skills- students build skills in areas such as personal finance, culinary arts, resume building, employable skills, and job etiquette.
Media & Arts- students learn online broadcast, live production, video & sound mixing, set and stage lighting, post production editing, and more
